As a mother herself, Dr. Laura understands how important it is to know that your child is in caring hands. Providing a kind-hearted environment that is gentle and fun, she quickly helps your child feel at ease creating a foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits and choices.
Native to Southern California, Dr. Laura attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. She then went on to attend dental school at Loma Linda University. Busy in dental school she served as class president, ranked first in her class and was awarded acceptance into the prestigious, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Additionally, Dr. Laura graduated with advanced standing, and received a certificate of merit from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
After earning her DDS, Dr. Laura continued her education at Loma Linda in an intensive pediatric dental residency program receiving a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Today she is recognized as an official Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a published author of a study that looks into the safety of certain sedatives commonly used in pediatric dentistry.
In her off time Dr. Laura enjoys spending time hiking, travelling, and enjoying life with her husband and three children.
While Dr. Jackie grew up in Phoenix, AZ, she is happy to be in warm, sunny Southern CA practicing pediatric dentistry.
After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Jackie went on to UCLA School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors. She went on to complete her pediatric specialty training at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
Dr. Jackie knows that every parent wants their child to have the kind, nurturing treatment that they would receive at home, and that’s what she gives each and every day to her patients. “It’s why I do what I do — to bring a smile to a child, to their parents and caregivers.”
In her spare time, Dr. Jackie can be found spending time with her husband, baby boy, and her golden retriever. She enjoys yoga, skiing, and trips to Disneyland.

At Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, we, along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Dental Association, recommend that a child’s first dental visit be scheduled by their first birthday.
First visits are established to encourage your child to feel safe and at ease during their trip to the dentist. After a gentle examination of your child's teeth and gums, Dr. Laura or Dr. Jackie will discuss your child’s oral health. They will also help you establish a great at-home oral care routine, providing tips and tricks for brushing your child’s teeth and suggestions for healthy snacks and drinks.
We always take a professional and compassionate approach to each visit, no matter what your child’s age, to help both you and your child remain stress free! We are excited to welcome your child and introduce them to the world of stress-free dentistry and a lifetime of beautiful smiles!
